I LOVE IT! ! !

I just love my new banner. Valerie made it for me! Isn't it the cutest ever! Well maybe not to everyone but to me it's the cutest ever! Lil Punky, aka Little Boo, Snickerdoodle, Punkius . . . is my little buddy. He cheers me up when I'm feeling down, he's always happy to see me and he knows when I need a cuddle.

I've been so busy that I haven't had much time to stamp. I went to a Women's Retreat with my church, Calvary Chapel Rio Grande Valley this past weekend. It was wonderful. It felt like I had been up on the mountain in His Presence. I had a lot to catch up with but it was so worth taking the time to be in His Peace.

I'm posting a pic of my 3x3 box with gift cards. These are so much fun to make and it's a good way to use your scraps.

Have a good weekend - I hope to post some projects next week. I'll be starting my Stamp Club / Make n Take classes next weekend. Better get busy - I must.

My Stamping Room

I thought I would show you some of my other stamping room projects. Valerie and I made these really cool ribbon boards. They were so easy to make. We've been able to put all of our cards on them for display. I made 3 of them with coordinating fabrics.

Of course they are filled up by now . . . I just keep trading out the new cards for the old cards. I love them!

Here is another project that Valerie and I did together. This project consists of 6 small, empty paint cans that we got at Home Depot. We covered them with designer paper, hot-glued them together, added the embellishments and the ribbon and Viola!

And one more thing . . . Here is a card I did for a TAC swap. I apologize for the quality. The paper I used was the new SU In-Color Kiwi Kiss. The designer paper is a retired from SU too . . . I'm part of Valerie's TAC (The Angel Company) circle. It is so much fun and she always has the funnest projects for us. Please check out Valerie's Blog at http://pixiedreamdesigns.blogspot.com/

Well I guess I better get back to the real work . . . Hope your day is PEACHY!

New Projects

I wanted to post some pics of a couple of projects I've made for my Sister and for my Mom. This is a pic of the "photo cube" I made for my sister (the Greatest Sis In The World). The pics are of her grandbabies - Aren't they adorable? It was made using 4x4 coasters and 3.5" coasters. I used TAC designer paper for this one! Love those colors!
The other project was for my Mom (the Greatest Mom on Earth and Heaven) . . . You see, she is a quilter . . . she makes the most beautiful quilts ever . . . and all by hand! This is the only quilt I've ever started and completed. I just don't have that same gift. I put it in a white frame and it was beautiful (even if I do say so myself - oh wait - I just did). Really I was proud of it. Tell me what you think. I used some retired Stampin' Up! designer paper and a retired SU image.

I also wanted to post the Decor Elements I put in my room and my hallway. I love them. I want to put them all over my house but I also want to see what SU comes up with next. They were easy to apply and what an impact they make!

Well . . . I know it been a long while since I posted anything. I tell you what . . . dial up is the PITS . . . I get frustrated . . . but bear with me. I'm learning as I go.

Happy Monday . . . oops . . . I mean Tuesday. It sure feels like a Monday.
